Class Notes 4/24/2026   Alyson (Stolz) Hernigle '15 and Nick Hernigle '16 are now proud parents. Class Notes 4/22/2026   Juliette Barney '25 completed the 2026 Boston Marathon. Individually she raised over $12,000 and her team of 5 raised $75,000 for students in need of support. Class Notes 4/22/2026   Marlene Chautin '02 passed away April 22, 2026. Class Notes 4/22/2026   James Pyra '71, M.Ed. '77 passed away April 12, 2026. Class Notes 4/13/2026   Sarah Maust '10 lives in Malden, MA with her fiancée, Jacob MacGown, her cat, and her rescue dog. After graduating from MCLA with a major in English/Communications, Maust went on to earn a masters in occupational therapy at Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA. Since 2012, Maust has been a practicing pediatric occupational therapist. For nearly a decade, she has worked as an OT at Perkins School for the Blind, specializing in working with children and youth who are DeafBlind with additional disabilities. Maust is also an avid writer, runner, and yogi who is passionate about disability rights and the arts. Maust’s writing has appeared in the publication: DeafBlind International Review; “Positioning Interventions to Facilitate Fine Motor Skills in children with CHARGE Syndrome and/or DeafBlindness,” (Kublin, Bis, Smith, and Maust, 2017). She has also presented occupational therapy research at national and international conferences. Class Notes 4/13/2026   William Hall '78 passed away April 6, 2026.
