Class Notes Alexandra A. Romano 8/19/2020
I, Alexandra "Alex" Romano '17, am continuing to write and edit my own fantasy novel. I started it in my senior year at MCLA, and since then, it has changed drastically. I am utilizing my Spanish minor and knowledge I gained while studying abroad in Europe in creating my fantasy world. It's been my dream to become a published author since I was young! My nine-year-old self would be so proud. Haha! Now, if I can find a publisher, I'd be all set!

I got two new jobs recently: one as a Paraprofessional in a school near Peabody, MA and the other as the Social Media Manager at a private homecare business, Care by the Coast, in Marblehead, MA. I am excited for the upcoming school year, even if it will be unconventional. And, I love the Rostron family I work for at Care by the Coast; I'm very happy there.

I've been keeping in touch with Colby Harvish '16, who has come to visit Peabody many times in the past two years. So glad we met at MCLA and that we have reconnected! I've also kept in touch with Diana Faulkner '17, who is finishing up her last year as a JET English Teacher in Japan! She's been there three years, but we still talk every week!

I like getting to catch up with other alum, like Michaela "Dino" DiNicola '16, Allie Martineau '17, and Tim Williams '17. Hope everyone is staying healthy!

Class Notes Susannah B. Sapir 8/12/2020
Surviving the pandemic as a small business has been a challenge but 95 graduate Susannah Sapir, owner of Hippy Pilgrim found the perfect solution! When COVID struck and Farmers Markets were cancelled Susannah immediately erected a Self Service Farm Stand on her property at 32 Forest Street In Plympton, MA.

Sapir is now capable of selling her products 7 days a week year round while allowing customers a socially distant private and unique shopping experience for her gourmet handmade garlic salts and specialty seasonings.

Susannah also upgraded her website www.hippypilgrim.com to accommodate more online ordering. Both initiatives have proven a success and she couldn't be more happy to still be in business and supported by her local community.
Class Notes Benjamin C. Warren 8/12/2020
Ben Warren '11: Getting married on August 22nd in Montague, MA. Will be surrounded by family and a few close MCLA friends, fraternity brothers. Ran into many hardships in planning around COVID pandemic restrictions. Luckily my future wife is a very detailed person and I have plenty of event planning experience from my days in the Pines fraternity, student government and other clubs/activities. Nothing has been quite like this.

I'm eternally grateful to have a job right now as an emergency service mental health clinician. I've been holding up at home throughout the pandemic engaging clients through telehealth services, but with these troubling times I've also been called in to local emergency departments. Keeping safe, wearing PPE, washing my hands, keeping safe distancing.

I hope everyone in the MCLA community and beyond are staying healthy and safe. I've been trying to keep active (biking, home workouts, hikes), making art, and zoom get togethers with friends and family.

Much love and hope to you all!
