Began a new chapter in my life, changing full-time careers from journalism to human services. I still do freelance work for newspapers and websites, but in April I joined a non-profit, Fidelity House Human Services, as a case manager working with individuals who have developmental disabilities but live independently in their own apartments or with family members.

After four years of working for a non-profit music organization, I've recently started a new job working in an Institutional Advancement office at a small college. I live in New Hampshire with my fiance and our cat. We are planning to get married in 2019!

I was recently promoted to Senior Director at my day job at a Boston integrated marketing agency. I manage a staff of half a dozen and work with clients such as MIT Sloan, Understood.org, Cushman & Wakefield, and Berkshire Choral International. My job is fast-paced, deadline-driven, and results-oriented -- which means all the lessons I learned from those late nights at The Beacon have come in handy.

My three boys are now 9, 4, and 2 which means there's no sleep or rest of any kind. My wife MJ (class of '01) and I recently bought a new house in Franklin, MA where my oldest walks to school and I can walk to the commuter rail every day to head into Boston for work.

Class Notes Aaron Pry 8/10/2017  
Sergeant First Class Aaron J. Pry '99 has been deployed to Soto Cano Air Base, Joint Task Force Bravo, part of Army Southern Command for the past year. He is the non-commissioned officer in charge of the laboratory for the medical element on the base supporting army, marines, air force, and navy personnel. Along with the military treatments, his unit, the 325th Combat support Hospital, also does MEDRETEs, local missions into the rural areas of Honduras and neighboring countries to provide them with medical care they would never receive otherwise.

Sarah Goodrich wed Damon Steffens on March 17 on the Atlantic Ocean at Hutchinson Island, Florida. They live on Hutchinson Island, along with their beagle, Luke.

The Governor Winslow Elementary School gymnasium in Marshfield will be
named to honor Fred Hubbard (class of 1954), who died in 2015. Fred
served in a variety of roles in the Marshfield School System. He was an
elementary school principal in three schools, an assistant
superintendent and also served twice as interim superintendent.

Stephanie Dery Kopala was one of four recipients of the 2017 Berkshire County Educator Recognition Awards. This award, given by MCLA in collaboration with Berkshire County K-12 superintendents and Berkshire Community College (BCC), was created to honor the region's exceptional teachers.
