Marie (Wasel) Howard '77 remains in close contact with her roommate Trish (Welch) Dobson. Marie fondly remembers Kappa Omicron sorority and several former events such as Spring and Fall Flings at Fish Pond and trips along the Mohawk Trail. After graduation, she worked as a pharmaceutical buyer at UMass Medical Center and a pharmaceutical analyst at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care. She later explored several part-time roles while raising her daughter. She and her husband of 29 years, retired ironworker Mike Howard, live in Millbury, Massachusetts. Their daughter, Skylar, 23, works as a senior financial analyst at Fidelity Investments in Boston. Now semi-retired, she enjoys summers at their beach house in York, Maine, regular yoga practice, and annual yoga retreats that have taken her from the Bahamas to Peru. Greece is next! She treasures the education and lasting friendships NASC gave her and looks forward to our 50th reunion. As she puts it: “If I had it to do over I wouldn’t change a thing.”

Arleta Mongue '17 received her MA in ecopsychology from Naropa University in 2022. She works as a nature connection specialist in Lenox, MA. She also is an author and writes stories about human connection and emotion. She has a new fantasy series coming out on October 27 under the pen name of Arleta Rae.

Peter Vasil '85 has been appointed head girls basketball coach at Union City High School. He has been teaching there for the past 7 years. He has previously coached on the boys side and this is his first go around with girls basketball.

Jennifer Schneider '98 has been writing thrillers and suspense novels under the pen name Jenna Moquin. She recently received nominations for the Book Tok Indie Author Awards and three of her books were featured in a recent Women.com article highlighting books that fans of Freida McFadden's thrillers may enjoy.
