Student Philanthropy Spirit Cords
At MCLA, it is one of our core values to instill a culture of giving back and making a difference in the lives of others. When you choose to join our alumni in supporting the Alumni Fund, you are showing your pride in this institution and making a difference in the lives of your peers and those who will follow in your footsteps.
Your student leadership level gift of $25 or more toward your Senior class gift represents your dedication and commitment to ensuring those who come after you have the same opportunities available to them that made your education at MCLA unique and transformative. Past Senior class gifts have improved the campus and include benches, art, and experiences to be enjoyed by students. Students who give at this level will receive a Student Philanthropy Cord to be worn at Commencement.
Make your gift online or at Commencement ticket pickup. Cords will be mailed to your campus P.O. box in early May. If you do not have a campus P.O. box and would like your cords mailed elsewhere, or for questions about this program, please email advancement@mcla.edu.

Students who give at this level will receive a Student Philanthropy Cord to be worn at Commencement on Saturday, May 14, 2016. Spirit Cords will be presented during a special ceremony at Senior Welcome on Monday, May 9 at Gallery 51 from 5 to 7 p.m.
